Biography:

Parash completed his bachelor's degree in public health from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. After completing the undergraduate training, he worked with Medic Mobile, a non-profit providing mHealth solutions, as a Project Manager. Between 2013 and 2016, he also led the editorial committee of Health Prospect, a student-society managed peer reviewed journal published from Nepal. At McGill, he is an MSc Epidemiology student under the joint supervision of Dr. Andrea Benedetti and Dr. Brett Thombs. He is interested in developing a strong quantitative foundation and bears interests in evidence synthesis and research on chronic illness and mental health.

Awards:

- Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Excellence Scholarship. Europubhealth+ Consortium. Awarded for being ranked among the best applicants based on education and professional experience, reasons for choosing specialization and cultural adaptability. 2018. [Declined] 

Tribhuvan University Entrance Scholarship. Awarded for securing third position in the entrance examination for Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health. 2012.
