Name: Maria Gagarine
Position: MSc student
Maria completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa and is currently completing her Master of Science degree in Public Health. Her passion for scleroderma research was inspired by her mom’s diagnosis and she hopes to make a difference within the scleroderma community through the opportunity to work with the SPIN team. Maria is conducting a scoping review on oral health within scleroderma as her practicum MScPH project, as well as assisting the SPIN team in other research, for example the SPIN COVID-19 study and the SPIN-CHAT trial.
